Our Staff Team

Childcare Manager
The Childcare Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our after school clubs, breakfast club and holiday clubs. During term-time the Childcare Manager operates peripatetically, ensuring time is spent supporting the senior staff at our two after school club venues.

Administration Manager
The Administration Manager is responsible for the business operation and administration and supports the Childcare Manager and senior staff team. The Administration Manager is predominantly based in the Skool Is Out office.

Play Coordinators
Each of our clubs is overseen by Play Coordinators, responsible for planning and implementing our play programmes and managing their respective venues.

Senior Practitioners
Our Senior Practitioner Playworkers provide valuable support for the Play Coordinators at each of our venues and cover in the absence of the senior management team.

Practitioner Playworkers
Qualified to SVQ level 3 or above, our Practitioner Playworkers are responsible for organising and executing our activities and collecting children from their respective schools. We have a very diverse staff team, each with their own individual qualities and skills that are invaluable to offering the highest standards of childcare.

Support Playworkers
Our Support Playworkers operate provide assistance to our Practitioner team in the provision of our outings and activities. Many of our Support Playworkers work their way up to practitioner level within the company.

Casual Support Staff
Casual staff work primarily in assisting with our school collections and walking buses. Casual Support staff are often students and part-time workers looking for additional experience in the childcare sector.

Volunteers
On occasion we have volunteers who might be gaining work experience who are still at school and we also have volunteers who are looking for experience of working with children and intend to go on to do primary school teaching.  Many of our volunteers end up as paid members of staff.  We also have previous after school club attendees who have returned to the after school club in high school to work having enjoyed their experience at the after school club.
